Burning Earth awaits the Messiah, but which one, democratic, dictator, king, communist or a religionist?
In my previous articles, I have tried to convince myself and my readers, with the facts that today we have the most modern and conventional ways of governing mankind. I have tried to give the utmost realistic view of what is happening across the globe. Today, we live in continuous fear of moving toward complete disasters and tremendous destruction with having all sorts of weapons of mass destruction and deceptions. A few years back an article was written by Lester Stone, on the subject of “What Would Happen in an All-Out Nuclear War?” . In this article, estimates and conclusions were made about the destruction, that could be caused by the use of the man made horrific weapons. On July 13, 2009, an article was published in The New York Times with the tile “Iraq Suffers as the Euphrates River Dwindles” by Campbell Robertson, considering the drying of Euphrates river as one of the signs of end times.
Superstitious or Rationalist:
With all the chaos and confusions, mankind (a superstitious animal) focuses more on what their beliefs are. We fixate world events with what they have been believing in for so many years, i.e. like there are many ancient beliefs about the end of time and countless literature is available on different beliefs and faiths. Like ones of Mayan, Zoroastrianism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Jews, Christians and Muslims. Almost all of them predict the end of time in their texts. Some of the predictions are common in all. Some are rare, mysterious and controverting. The most important of all in every faith is that they all emphasis on “The Return of the King”.
The False Messiah:
It is obvious that with all the materialism around us, there are many people who take advantage of these prophecies and become imposers. Like recently we have witnessed a man named Ahmad Esa, claimed he is the Jesus and came with the book for the guidance of people. Quite recently many other people tried the same stunts, some got busted and some succeeded.
- Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (13 February 1835 – 26 May 1908) was an Indian religious leader. He claimed, he was divinely appointed as the promised messiah, which is the metaphorical second coming of Jesus.
- Krishna Venta (29 March 1911 – 10 December 1958) was the leader of a California religious group. In April 1948, he stated, “I am Christ, I am the new messiah.”
- David Koresh born (August 17, 1959 – April 19, 1993) was the American leader of the Branch Davidians sect, believing himself to be its final prophet.
- Apollo Carreon Quiboloy is the founder of the Philippines-based church called the Kingdom of Jesus Christ. He has made claims that he is the appointed son of God, as well as being The owner of the Earth.
- In 2007 a spiritual teacher Alan John Miller claimed to be Jesus of Nazareth through reincarnation.
There are many others to discuss, but most of them are died. They left the door open for other imposter’s to make the same claims. With the coming of these imposters, come along the harsh moments that are difficult for humanity to swallow. I want to get it highlighted what happened in late 1978, the mass murder in Jonestown. Where 909 people along with 304 children died of apparent cyanide poisoning, as fulfilling a false ritual. This resulted in the greatest single loss of American civilian life in a deliberate act until the September 11 attacks. The FBI later recovered a 45-minute audio recording of the mutual suicide in progress. This Information may never be able to satisfy particular standards for completeness, it is just a glimpse. There are many researchers who have done paper work before and are available in different forms. Predictions of apocalyptic events that would result in the complete destruction of the planet Earth, have been made since ages. Most predictions are related to Abrahamic religions. But we must also take a look on other faiths and their predictions.
The Mayan Civilization:
The Maya civilization were residents of North America. They developed their own language, art, architecture, mathematics, culture, politics, warfare strategies, warriors & weapons, trade & merchants, building materials & methods, pyramids and temples, hieroglyphic script, writing tools, religion & mythology and human sacrifice. But most important are their calendar and astronomical system. Most of their text was the imprints they left on the walls of their castles, building, and pyramids. Many of its lost ruins are still being searched for getting more details and information. Did they predict that the world would come to an end in 2012? They actually did not. It was based on an ancient Mayan calendar, carved on stone, which, according to calculations ended on December 21, 2012. Without a doubt, the ancient Mayans were remarkable mathematicians and astronomers, but nothing happened and we are still here. Though living miserably, still very much alive. Following are some of the prophecies that are widely famous. The first prophecy speaks of the end of the time, says: “that our world of hatred and materialism will finish Saturday 22 of December of the year 2012. The second Mayan prophecy announced that the behavior of all the humans would change quickly from the solar eclipse of the 11 of August of 1999. The third Mayan prophecy says that a heat wave will increase the temperature of the planet, producing geologic and social-climatic changes in magnitude without precedents at an amazing speed.
Michel DE Nostradamus (14 or 21 December 1503 – 2 July 1566), known as Nostradamus, was a physician, who is best known for his book Les Prophesies, a collection of 942 poetic verses, allegedly predicting future events. The book was first published in 1555. Nostradamus’s family was originally Jewish but had converted to Catholicism before he was born. Most of his predictions were based on judicial astrology. Many of his followers believe his prophecies are correct. Some of them even consider him a prophet for the work he has done in the field of medicine, society, and religion. Most of his followers do agree that he predicted the Great Fire of London, the French Revolution, and the rises of Napoleon and Adolf Hitler, both world wars, and the nuclear destruction of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. But These claims rely heavily on the role of interpretation. Nostradamus enthusiasts have often credited him with predicting numerous events in world history, supposedly including the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Center. “In the City of God, there will be a great thunder, Two brothers will be torn apart by Chaos, while the fortress endures, the great leader will succumb, The third big war will begin when the big city is burning”.
Some Thing Funny
These claims rely heavily on the role of interpretation. In another prophecy about dancing horseman, in December 2012, an Internet hoax related to South Korean singer Park Jae-sang is one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse was widely circulated around social media platforms. The hoax text was written by Nostradamus in 1503, is as follows: “From the calm morning, the end will come when of the dancing horse the number of circles will be nine”. “Calm morning” is said to be in reference to Psy’s birth country. South Korea, nicknamed in English “The Land of Morning Calm”. “Dancing horse” refers to Psy’s Gangnam Style “dancing horse” routine, whereas the “nine circles” refer to the number of zeroes in one billion (1,000,000,000), which is nine. It was believed that once Psy’s Gangnam Style video on YouTube amassed a billion views, the world would end. Hilarious! isn’t it. In another verse, he claimed that the Antichrist will appear in 1985, which never happened. Nostradamus also stated that the “King of Terror” would come from the sky and was frequently interpreted as a prediction of doomsday in July 1999.
Messiah In Zoroastrianism:
Zoroastrianism is one of the world’s oldest monotheistic religions. It was founded by the Prophet Zoroaster in ancient Iran approximately 3500 years ago. At that time it was Persia’s official religion and most powerful in 700 BCE. It is now one of the world’s smallest religions. In 2006 the New York Times reported that there were probably less than 200,000 followers worldwide. It has two sacred books Zend-Avesta & Dasatir-I-Asmani. Following are some of its teachings. The creator is one, no one is like him. He is without an origin or end, without a rival, an enemy, a prototype, a friend, father, mother, wife, son, an abode, a body or form and without color and scent. He gives life and existence to everything. Neither the eye can behold him, nor the power of thinking can conceive him. Matter and soul are not eternal like him. Don’t be disappointed in his favors and kindness. Zoroaster said: The creator is nearer to you than your own self. When a man of good deeds dies, the creator sends him to paradise. In its sacred books, the prophet Zoroaster also made some prophecies about the coming of a figure who will make this earth a good living place again. His name will be Soashyant and he will bring eternal peace to the physical realm (the earth).
Following are some of the predictions made in Zoroastrianisms sacred books.
- Zoroastrian prophecies predict that an asteroid will hit the Earth at the end of the age.
- Some prophecies predict the resurrection and future existence in paradise and hell.
- Zoroastrian prophecies predict about the last judgment.
- Major prophecies tell us of the world savior, Saoshyant, who is to come and stop the cruelties of bloodthirsty and wicked people, and renew the world, and end death.
- The victorious Saoshyant and his helpers will make the world wonderful again.
- Three saviors will be born of virgins miraculously impregnated with Zarathushtra’s seed while bathing in Lake Kansaoya.
Messiah In Hinduism:
Hinduism is the world’s oldest religion, according to many scholars, with its roots and customs dating back more than 4,000 years. Today, with about 900 million followers, Hinduism is the third-largest religion behind Christianity and Islam. Because this religion has no specific founder, it’s difficult to trace its origins and history. It’s not a single religion, but a compilation of many traditions and philosophies. Although Hinduism contains a broad range of philosophies, it is linked by sharing concepts, recognizable rituals, cosmology, shared textual resources, and pilgrimage to sacred sites. Hindu text discuss theology, philosophy, mythology, Yoga, organic rituals, temple building, and other topics. Major scriptures include the Vedas and Upanishads, the Bhagavad Gita, and the Agamas.
There are approximately twenty-five incarnations of Lord Vishnu (Hindu God) and Kalki is supposed to be the last and final incarnation of the Lord Vishnu. There are numerous mysterious prophecies and predictions in Hindu literature that talk about the birth and events in the time of Kalki. The time of great evil mentioned in the prophecies corresponds to the Twentieth Century with its World Wars, regimes of mad dictators and authoritarian rulers, nuclear weapons, famines, diseases, pollution, crime, violence, catastrophes, and the worldwide decline of morality. Kalki will be supported by the army of Brahmins (The Hindu Pandits). They will fight against the sinful leaders & system of that age and will persecute atheists in millions. Kalki will be a fierce sword of that time. His main purpose will be to restore virtue and world order.
The Role of Brahmin Pandits
Today, these Brahmin Pandits plays a very important role in the daily life of Hindu society. From the birth of their children, they make their holy birth certificates (Kundli) keeping in view the astronomical system known as Disha (planets direction) with the time date and month. These Dishas are considered to be very vital in planning the future. These directions keep changing with the movements of planets and astronomical system. These small directions jointly make bigger directions, which are known as Maha Disha (Grand Directions). For marriages, the birth certificates (Kundli) of male and female are matched for a perfect Mahurat (best possible time) for the occasion and every holly event. Many rituals are performed by these Brahmin Pandits to remove the hurdles that can make the future dark. Even if a few seconds are passed from selected Mahurat the marriages and events will get postponed until next Mahurat (selected time). It is considered a very bad omen to get things done other than selected time. It is considered so essential in Hindus life that they take guidance from these Brahim Pandits on all aspects of life, i.e. future planning, election symbols, which seed to use for harvesting, when to start the foundation of their homes, starting a new business etc. This is an absolute rule of their religion to follow these Mahurats. In the past, Hindu kings use to do wars only according to the Mahurats. In 2011, a group of very famous Indian Brahmin Pandits predicted that Indian progress will stop its pace in 2012 and will face wars. They also predicted that during these wars a leader (Maha Rishi) will appear from the mountains of Himalaya, who is still present there in caves and will assist them in defeating their enemies. But nothing happened.
Following are some of the other future predictions in Hindu scriptures
Religion, truthfulness, cleanliness, tolerance, mercy, duration of life, physical strength and memory will diminish day by day because of the powerful influence of the age of Kalki. In the last times, wealth alone will be considered as the sign of a man’s behavior and qualities. A person will be judged unholy if he does not have money and hypocrisy will be accepted as a virtue. The principle of religion will be observed only for the sake of reputation. Struck by drought, they will become completely ruined. People will suffer greatly from cold, wind, heat, rain and snow. They will be further tormented by quarrels, hunger, thirst, disease and severe anxiety. The maximum duration of human life will be 50 years. Man will no longer protect and respect their parents. Man will develop a hatred for each other even over a few coins.
Messiah In Buddhism:
Buddhism is a spiritual tradition that focuses on personal spiritual development and the attainment of a deep insight into the true nature of life. There are 400 million followers worldwide. Buddhists seek to reach a state of nirvana, following the path of the Siddhartha Gautama Buddha, who went on a quest for enlightenment around the sixth century BC. There is no belief in a personal god. Buddhists believe that nothing is fixed or permanent and that change is always possible. The path to enlightenment is through the practice and development of morality, meditation, and wisdom. The Four Noble Truths contain the essence of the Buddha’s teachings.
It was these four principles that the Gautama came to understand during his meditation under the Bodhi tree.
The truth of suffering (Dukkha), origin of suffering (Samudāya), cessation(ending) of suffering (Nirodha) and path to the cessation of suffering (Magga) Buddhists also believe in the concept of the wheel of life, realms of the universe, Karma, Rebirth, and life after the physical world. Lotus Sutra & Amitabha Sutra are the most popular Buddhist literature. According to Buddhist literature, the last Buddha will appear when the oceans will have decreased in size & severe droughts will have hit the earth. His name will be Maitreya and will also be known as Ajita. He will master Buddhism, i.e. knowledge, wisdom, awakened intelligence and inner peace etc. in 7 days. Maitreya will be the last Buddha and will be the successor of Gautama Buddha according to Buddhist Eschatology and will come in time when the real Dharma (religions based on cosmic law and order) of Gautama will be lost, forgotten or not practiced. He will come to preach the pure Dharma and to enlighten humanity with inner peace.
Messiah In Judaism:
Judaism (originated from Hebrew as Yehudah, Judah) is a monotheistic religion of the Jewish people. It is an ancient Abrahamic religion with the Torah as its foundational text. Judaism is considered an expression of the holy books that God established with the Children of Israel.
The first Temple or the Solomon’s Temple was the Holy Temple in ancient Jerusalem before its destruction by the king of Babylon in between 605 BC -562 BC. According to the Tanakh, this temple was constructed by King Solomon and is said to have housed the Ark of the Testimony. Ark of testimony is also known as the Ark of the Covenant. It is said to be a wooden chest made of specific design covered with gold. It is said that it contained the original stone plates of ten commandments, original Torah, the holy food that came from paradise for the Children of Israel, staff of Aaron and cloths of Moses, etc. After the complete destruction of the First Temple, most of the elites were taken captive and the city was razed to the ground, since then the Ark is lost and no one knows where it is. The majority of the citizens were then killed and remaining were forced to migrate. In 37 BCE, during the reign of Herod the Great, the destroyed first temple was reconstructed into the large and magnificent edifices. Herod the Great, invited scattered Jews to come back and live in Jerusalem in peace, but that peace didn’t lasted long. In 70 CE Roman Forces destroy Jerusalem and demolished the Second Temple in the result of the Jewish revolt. Later on, till now the city has seen many ups and downs, but the temple has never been reconstructed again. The remaining walls of temples are those constructed by Herod the great where Jews offer their Prayers.
The Third Temple
The Third temple is presented as a religious desire in Judaism and is expressed in their prayers for reconstruction of the third temple where once stood First and Second Temple. Jews have a strong belief that this temple will be built again with the arrival of their Messiah and they are waiting for a sign. The sign would be in the form of the birth of a holy red cow, that will be sacrificed and its flesh and bones will be burnt. With its aches, the Jews and the temple walls will be purified and then none purified will never enter the great city of Jerusalem. It is claimed many times about the birth of this sacred “red heifer”. Jewish eschatology is a critical study of events that will happen in the last days and related concepts, according to the Tanakh. Their important main beliefs are elaborated in the Books of Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel and most Important of all is about the coming of their Mashiach (Messiah/Savior).

Today, many people around the globe get confuse and think that Christians believe in three gods, which they don’t. Christianity futuristic prophecies focuses mainly on death and the afterlife, heaven and hell, the second coming Jesus, the resurrection of the dead, the rapture, the tribulation, millennialism, the end of the world, the Last judgment, and the new heaven and new earth in the world to come. The most Important of these all is the second coming of Jesus. The Bible says: Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.
